I’ve known Rev. Kevin Traynor my entire life. Kevin is my uncle and now my Sunday School teacher. I would have to say that it is an overwhelming feeling to see how God is using him. The way that the LORD uses him to teach and preach the word of God, is the main reason that keeps me coming back to hear him both on his YouTube channel and engaged as a student in his Sunday school class each week. Admittedly, I’ve struggled with certain passages of scripture(s) that I’ve read and re-read for years, and Rev. Traynor is able to break down the Word of God in such a way that I (and others am sure) can apply it in my day-to-day living. I recognize that this isn’t an ability of his own doing, the LORD is definitely at work within/through him. It is no surprise that he’s been called to minister the Word of God in a way that is “practical”. I just praise God to be a witness to it and blessed by it too!! Uncle Kevin, may God continue to use you in such a way to always remain faithfully on purpose for His Purpose. Blessings.

In 2 Timothy 4:3-4, Apostle Paul cautions Timothy of a time when opposition to the gospel will be flagrant and teachers will say things that would tickle the ears of many. Today in these perilous times (2 Timothy 3:1-5) we need concrete preaching and teaching of the Word of God. Rev. Kevin Traynor you have been called to implement this ministry for the cause of Christ. Our world today is in need of basic, straightforward preaching and teaching of the Word of God. This ministry is created to implement sound doctrine. Sound doctrine is transmitted by the Holy Spirit and helps us to put in practice what we have learned. Someone said “Knowledge without application is self-deception”. This “Practical Christian Living Ministries” will lead people to a life transformation and keep people from eternal separation of Jesus Christ. Rev. Traynor I highly commend you for the work the Lord has called you to do. I am excited and praying that through your work souls will be saved and ears will be opened to hear the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have had the honor of knowing Rev. Kevin Traynor for approximately 18 years. He is spiritually grounded and has a heart for God. As a preacher, Rev. Traynor makes his subject “come alive”. He provides the background facts of his topic and follows up with thought provoking summarization.
Rev Traynor is also an excellent teacher and often adds humor to which makes learning enjoyable. He also shares his personal experiences as illustrations. He is admired and respected for his ability to reach the young as well as the old and make the teachings of the Bible relevant to life today.

I am so proud of my brother Kevin. As I look back over our lives as young teens growing up all we ever knew was helping one another and trusting The Lord always. Our Mother and Grand Mothers always made sure we were active in Church. I remember the first time we went to Cornerstone Baptist Church. Kevin showed me the motto on one of the Church walls that said, "Bring Them in Build Them Up and Send Them out." Kevin is doing this each and everyday. I am totally convince that we must learn more and more about God's Word in this ever changing World that we live in. The confirmation that Kevin brings to mind to me with his Preaching and Teaching is as my Pastor Rev. David G. Latimore says, We Can Not Live What We Have Not Learned. I am so thankful to learn the WORD through Minister Traynor's teachings. Whether it was in Sunday School where he taught practical lessons of how to deal with work issues, family members and friends. He always has a way to make you laugh, think and apply the lessons to your everyday life. My son always enjoyed his youth bible studies. He let the teenagers speak freely while giving fatherly and biblical advice. And his messages on Sunday's are always spirit filled. He has truly been a blessing to my family and a part of our growth in faith.

This is personal for me as I, salute Minister Kevin Traynor as a true friend, brother and teacher. We met about 12 or more years ago when I, needed a real friend. He was able to give me spiritual inspiration on some things that I was facing. I just didn’t know which way to turn. He was able to help me with understanding that God was my Ultimate Resource. I have known Minister Traynor since I was a child. Overtime, I would listen to his Sunday sermons at Cornerstone Baptist Church. But, I connected with him the most when he was my youth Bible Study teacher. He was always able to interpret the Bible in ways that I could fully comprehend which helped me to want to seek the word on my own. Rev Kevin Traynor’s preaching style is one of a kind . I’ve always marveled at how he dissects a scripture and breaks it down . Whenever he has preached that is something I always look forward to , he makes it clear for all to be able to understand what exactly is taking place or being said in the scriptures. Furthermore, he provides numerous examples during his teachings to add more of a vivid picture for all to grasp the message he is portraying. Also, he will provide a story of an experience that he has gone through to tie into the teaching , which is very comforting because he is making it relatable. In addition, he will keep you alert and tuned in by inserting a joke during the teaching as well ,no matter what you will laugh. Altogether, I value his teaching technique because he was the first person to show me how to look and interpret the Bible in a different way and and still receive the message that is being explained. I greatly appreciate that because not all can do that .

As a young adult, I had many opportunities to hear Minister Traynor preach and teach the word of God. Through his teaching I was able to understand how the Bible applies to everyday life. Minister Traynor made the word seem real and simplistic. As a young adult, the Bible seems complex, but Minister Traynor made it easy to understand. Through his teaching I have strengthened my relationship with Jesus Christ.

Thoughts.. Rev. Traynor is a great minister. The way he connects to his congregation or whomever he is speaking to is undeniably amazing. Rev. Traynor is able to make any situation relatable and understandable to any age group he speaks with. Amazing preacher.
